After years of ghostwriting stories in other voices, Dani Distrutto is stepping out of the shadows and writing under a name of her own.

Dani writes dark romance and romantic suspense for readers who prefer their love stories atmospheric, dangerous, and difficult to forget. Drawn to the women immortalized and often misunderstood in music, she imagines the lives that unfold before the first note and after the final refrain.

Her fiction explores morally complicated women, buried histories, desire, danger, and love that must earn its place beside survival. Delia’s Gone, the first novel in her Women in the Songs series, is forthcoming from Low Register Publishing.
